Welcome to the 13 Colonies! 

During this social studies unit we will be studying the 13 colonies.  We will be using a blended learning environment in which we will learn in class face-to-face and in the computer lab using this website.  You will have the opportunity to explore each colony and learn more about what life was like.  Each week will focus on a region of colonies.  These regions include the New England Colonies, the Middle Colonies, and the Southern Colonies .  During each week, you will read, watch videos, do interactive activities, write a post on your blog, and take an online quiz to test your learning.  At the end of all 3 weeks, you will spend week 4 completing your final project that will sum up all your learning from this unit.  

You will begin our online course by learning how to be a good digital citizen when working on the internet.  This lesson will need to be completed before beginning your work in Week 1.
